Married to Jacqueline since 1995 and they have three children. After having lived many years in Europe, he came to America in 1996. Aside from serving as Pastor of local churches, he also has served the Lord in different positions, including:

• Director of Vietnamese Christian Youth Fellowship, Denmark, 1989–1994.
• President of Vietnamese Evangelical Church, Norway, 1994–1996.
• Editor of Vietnamese Christian Magazine in Europe, 1991–1993.
• General Secretary of Vietnamese Evangelical Church in Europe, 1993–1995.
• Director of Vietnamese Youth Mission in Europe, 1992–1994.
• Vice Director & Director of Vietnamese Christian Youth Fellowship in Europe, 1990–1996.
• Vice Director of Vietnamese Baptist Men, USA, 2000–2001.
• Vice President of Vietnamese National Baptist Fellowship, USA, 2001–2005.
• Vice President & President of Vietnamese Baptist Churches Fellowship of Southeastern Region, 2008–2011.
• General Secretary of Vietnamese Baptist Fellowship of North America, 2011–Present.

Studied at University of Cambridge, 1987–1988; International Bible College, 1988–1990; Aarhus University, 1991; Vietnamese Theological College, 1988–1992; Florida Christian University, 1996–2001; and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, 2010–Present.

He is co-author of The Revival in China and Korea (1996) with Rev. Dr. Lê Hoàng Phu. He has written Vietnamese Bible Studies for LifeWay and Devotional Booklet Lessons for Vietnam Ministries. He has also contributed many articles to Vietnamese Journals and Magazines in Europe and America.
