Youth & Young Adults

Vietnamese Baptist Convention 2015 Youth & Young Adults (YYA) Volunteer Task Descriptions:

Worship Team: Creating an Spiritually filled experience to engage people into the heart of worship
Registration/Hospitality-Medical: YYA help desk. Checking in youth especially on Thursday and encouraging youth to get to know other youth at the convention. Accommodate latecomers and plug them into a team. This team will also take care of any medical need.
Team Counselor: Preferably young adult or experienced youth leader or youth pastor, you will be leading a group of 15 youth and engaging them to participate in all activities.
Edutainment Team: Organize and execute icebreaker activities, team building activities, and other games that incorporate Biblical message and the theme of Đại Hội New Journey
Workshop Team: Coordinate and follow up with workshop speaker to select and workshop topics for youth and young adults.
Program Team: Work with edutainment team and workshop team to create the over program of YYA.
Historian and photo/videographer: Record and/or take photos of Youth and Young adults activities to be given to Đại Hội to keep as record.
Technical: Assist in any technical needs such as sound system, power point slides.
Logistics: Getting materials, looking at rooms assignments for YYA activities
Analytics team: Create a survey to evaluate YYA activities. Finding judges for competition activities and getting awards for the winners.
