Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

We are delighted to write this letter to prepare you for the 31st Vietnamese National Baptist Fellowship Baptist Conference, beginning on the evening of Thursday, 02 and closing on Sunday, July 05, 2015 in Dallas, Texas.

The 31st Conference will take place at the special time for all overseas Vietnamese Christians, because it marks a turning point of our Vietnamese Southern Baptist churches in North America.

At this year’s conference, we will be celebrating 40 years of the Vietnamese Christian churches present in the United States. Doing that, in the afternoon of Saturday, July 4th, we will join hands with the other Vietnamese evangelical denominations to celebrate this wonderful event. The joint program includes repertoire - praise and worship the Lord, and we will have the opportunity to hear good progress of the Lord's works from the different denominations for the Vietnamese Churches in North America.

This is a unique opportunity for us to look back at God's blessings and the lessons learned from 40 years of the Vietnamese evangelical churches overseas, so that we can take another step in a new journey, with efforts to develop and edify the Lord’s work among our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The theme of the conference is “A New Journey,” based on Hebrews 11:16. We hope that through this conference, we will have the opportunity to look back at 40 years of God’s miraculous works, and at the same time, we look towards the future, with a new journey in the new circumstances. A new journey led by the Holy Spirit will certainly bring to us, new visions and strategies, to continue spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Vietnamese community living around the world.

In addition, the city of Dallas is a major hub of the overseas Vietnamese with many activities and the diverse developments. You will have the opportunity to visit the Vietnamese business centers; visiting families and friends; and please do not forget to visit many Baptist churches with great historical landmarks in the area.

For these reasons, we urge you to join hands with us in:

1. Fervently praying for the 31st conference
2. Enthusiastically promoting the 31st conference at your local church
3. Registering early to attend the 31st conference

We wish all of you a peaceful New Year, abundant blessings from our God the Father in jointly expanding the Kingdom of God.
